Introduction


The FWa 3.02 / FWm 3.00 firmware was realised in the end of april 2025, with new functionalities and can be easily applied via Cadence

Instruments can be updated freely, for those not subject to specific certification (such as LNE, Cofrac, etc.), it is important to follow the instructions below to maintain certification.

The update depends on the applicable local regulations.


Local regulations may completely prohibit the update, allow it only if authorized by an approved organization, or, depending on the regulations, permit the user to perform the update.



Please ensure that you verify the requirements of your national metrology authority before proceeding with the update procedure described below.


Non-approved devices

Models concerned : DUO – FUSION – CUBE – ACT-400 

For all instrument, whether non-approved or not subject to model approval, the firmware update to FWa 3.02 / FWm 3.00 is possible via Cadence. See the procedure below.

Update via CADENCE


To update your device via Cadence, please follox the steps below:


  • Connect to https://cadence.acoem.com/login

    • If you already have an account, log in with your login and password.

    • If you do not have an account yet, click on "Request an account".
      In this case,you will also need to pair your instruments with your account  (see Cadence : How to )


  • Once logged in, go to the "Flotte" then "Devices" .
    Click on the hexagon to the left of the device name to select it (you can select multiple devices).
    Then click the "X device(s)..." button and choose "Update devices."

  • Select the firmware you wish to install on your device. 



As a precaution, Cadence prevents the update of a certified device.

To update a device declared as certified, go to the device settings, then "Identity."
In the "Metrological Information" section, click on "Edit" and uncheck the "Certified device" box.
Apply the update as described above, then recheck the "Certified device" box.
